Specifications include, but are not limited to: The firm will be responsible for the facilitating the convening of stakeholders to: • Gather and analyze quantitative data • Scan the college’s internal and external operating environment involving staff, student, community and the Board of Trustees • Conduct a SWOT analysis and report the findings • Engage the internal and external community in a collaborative strategic planning process • Create deliverables including, environmental scan document, draft strategic plan, final strategic plan. The selected firm will also: • Facilitate and document the steering committee meetings (the college is willing to discuss the use of remote facilitation when appropriate and to reduce expenses.) • Plan and facilitate the engagement with internal and external stakeholders • Conduct briefings and presentations of findings/key milestones to the President’s Cabinet, the NIC Board of Trustees and other relevant stakeholders at agreed upon milestones and upon completion of the final plan. The final plan needs to do the following: • Articulate a strong vision and mission for the college • Identify stakeholders involved • Include clear and prioritized organizational goals and objectives • Articulate a set of strategies to achieve the goals and objectives • Identify priority outcomes and other metrics that will enable to college to allocate resources and measure progress • Include a framework for regular monitoring and reevaluation of progress under the plan • Aligns with projected available resources • Be a shareable document to internal and external stakeholders
