Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pinal County anticipates awarding multiple Job Order Contracts with Contractors qualifying with Arizona Register of Contractors (ROC) License Classifications of one or more of the following to provide the services requested. Contractor shall possess a current ROC license and provide his or her ROC license number: • “CR37” Plumbing • “R-37R” Plumbing Residential • “A-12” Sewers. Drains and Pipe Laying This classification allows the scope of work permitted by installation, alteration, and repair of all piping, fixtures, and appliances related to water supply, including pressure vessels and tanks (excluding municipal or related water supply systems); venting and sanitary drainage systems for all fluid, semi-fluid, and organic wastes; septic tanks and leaching lines; roof leaders; lawn sprinklers; water conditioning equipment; and piping. Sewer, gas, water lines, and connections from structure to the nearest point of public supply or disposal may cross public or private easements or be installed within private easements or right-of-ways. Pipe installed across public property may not be increased in size, or make any other connection between the point of exit from private property to the point of connection at public supply or disposal. These lines shall not be installed parallel to main lines in public easements or right-of-ways. Plumbers install and repair plumbing systems in residential properties. They also install fixtures and domestic appliances associated with heating, cooling, and sanitation systems. • Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts. • Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. • Fitting and repairing various household appliances. • Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures. • Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. • Troubleshooting and resolving problems. • Preparing cost estimates.
