Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Providing prescription and medication services for inmates housed in the Facility, as well as providing any medical supplies or appliances deemed necessary by the County or its agents. The medications should be packaged individually for each inmate for each specific morning distribution or evening distribution and must be labeled with the following: 1. Name of inmate 2. Inmate location 3. Inmate identification number 4. Date of administration 5. Time of administration 6. Name of physician 7. Name of medication 8. Directions for use 9. Description of medication 10. Quantity of medication in the pack B. The packs shall be sorted and arranged in the order requested by the Facility to assemble medicine distribution in the order that would be most efficient for the facility. Each pack should contain the correct dosage of each medication for each individual inmate. Refer to Exhibit D for an example of what the Facility expects. C. Medication packs will be provided daily by the vendor. The package of medications that will be provided to the Facility should be ready for the inmates with little or no modification by Facility staff and with the inmate's most up-to-date medication regime. D. All medication packs must be checked and verified for accuracy by the pharmacist before being delivered to the Facility.
