Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Sole Source procurement is appropriate due to the unique nature of the CCA’s involvement with businesses in the Columbia South Shore Well Field (CSSWF), and the established relationship between the CCA and the regulated businesses that has resulted from 20 years of GWPP implementation. CSSWF involvement of the CCA and its ability to provide technical expertise and support to businesses has been a key factor in establishing and maintaining business sector buy-in. Continuing to provide these resources to the business community is an integral part of the Water Bureau’s long-term strategy to reduce the risk of groundwater contamination in the CSSWF.
