Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the Town of Queen Creek’s intent to enter into a preconstruction services contract and construction services contract with a qualified construction manager at risk to construct the Kenworthy Road Transmission Waterline. This project consists of the construction of 5 miles of 24” ductile iron pipe (DIP) waterline, which will be delivered in three phases due to time constraints associated with a Pinal County roadway project. Phase 1 - Kenworthy Road Transmission Line (WA262). This phase will construct 3.5 miles of 24” DIP transmission waterline from approximately Red Fern Road north to Germann Road. This phase will have to begin at the south portion of the project and the selected contractor will have to work closely with the Pinal County contractor that will be reconstructing Kenworthy Road from Combs Road to Chandler Heights Road beginning Fall of 2023. The CMAR will need to ensure that the waterline work is completed in a manner and on a timeline to not delay the roadway work by Pinal County and will not cause the removal or damage of any work completed as a part of Pinal County’s roadway project. Phase 2 - Homes Place Transmission Line (WA031). This phase will construct 1 mile of 24” DIP transmission waterline. The new line will extend from Schnepf Road to the Kenworthy Road Alignment with stub outs along the way for a new well site. Phase 3 - Germann Road Transmission Line (WA294). This phase will construct 1 mile of 24” DIP transmission waterline extending from Kenworthy Road to Schnepf Road. All phases of this project are funded utilizing American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The contractor and all subcontractors must apply by all applicable processes and procedure to ensure expenditures occur in accordance with ARPA guidelines. Contractor and all subcontractors must be registered with Sam.gov at time of contract award, as required by ARPA. The Town of Queen Creek has engaged a design consultant who is currently working on plan design. The CMAR shall anticipate being under contract at an approximately 30% design stage.
