Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project area starts at Stony Brook and goes to Spegal Road on Fletcher and Labadie Road on Taggart Hill Road. The project consists of excavating and repairing the bridge approach on Bridge #33 along with rebuilding other areas of rip rap that are on the above listed roads (rip rap shall be a minimum of 4’ below the bottom of the channel). Filling the site and building an uphill retaining wall prior to Spegal Road and armoring the riverbank with large rock in several locations. Ditch and shoulder cleaning (finished ditches should be 3’ wide by 2’ deep), seed and mulching/hydroseed ditches and all areas that are not stone lined and that have soil that has been disturbed and graveling the road surface. Dismantle/save guardrail and reinstall guard rail. The contractor is responsible for all materials needed for the project. All work will be under the supervision of the Town of Stockbridge Road Foreman. The contractor must work with and follow the requirements of the Vermont ANR River Management Engineer. The contractor will give a copy of all invoices for materials to the town to show the yardage or LF used on the project.
