Specifications include, but are not limited to: In June 2023, DDS approved MARC Inc. of Manchester’s Transformation Plan called, “Vocational Enhancement Transitional Program”. The objective of this plan transition individuals supported from group settings and 14-C sub minimal wage employment into prevailing wage, community based employment. The program will be a person centered four month (sixteen week) transition program. MARC Inc. will work on a small scale ratio, with three to four individuals per rotation. We anticipate three rotations each year. There will be about 10 hours of classroom time per week and seventeen to twenty hours of employment based, hands-on work skills training at job sites. The classroom time will consist of life skills training: Community Safety skills Financial and Budgeting Workplace practices/rules Career Preparedness (hygiene, appropriate dress code, interviewing, etc.) Work Appropriateness Transportation Work site Natural Supports/Mentors Independent Living
