The County will provide two horizontal and vertical control points near the work area. Centerline off-set staking will also be provided by the County @ 50 LF stations for the length of the proposed concrete road paving. Staking and control will only be provided once and it shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to protect and maintain during construction. All concrete shall be class S(AE) 4000 PSI All exposed concrete shall have a broom or tine finish Provide transverse control joints @ max spacing of 20’ O.C. Provide expansion joints @ max spacing of 100’ O.C. and at the end of each days pour ½” dia. smooth bars x 24” long set @ 12” O.C. Shall be provided at all expansion/contraction joints with length of the bars centered on the joint. Contractor Shall be Responsible for furnishing, installing and maintaining all required Storm Water Pollution Prevention (SWPP) BMP’s to adequately protect against sediment runoff from the project site during construction and until final re-vegetation of all disturbed areas has been established. No separate payment will be made for this work as it is to be considered subsidiary to the construction the roadway and drainage improvements and all associated costs shall be included in the amount bid for other bid items included.
