Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Johnson County Library Board of Directors seeks proposals for the provision of real estate brokerage services by established firms whose primary business is the brokerage of commercial and/or industrial real estate in the Kansas City metropolitan area. The immediate need is for the firm selected to assist the library in the sale of the existing former Lackman Library at 15345 W. 87th St. Pkwy., Lenexa, Kansas 66219. The Lenexa City Center Library at 8778 Penrose Ln., Lenexa, Kansas 66219 has replaced the Lackman facility. The Library Board of Directors intends to sell the vacant existing building and property, described in detail below. There are potentially other properties, including the existing Antioch Library at 8700 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Merriam, Kansas 66202 that is going to be replaced by the new Merriam Plaza Library, that the Library may need real estate brokerage services for in the next few years depending on the direction of other capital projects
