Specifications include, but are not limited to: All deliveries shall comply in every respect with all applicable laws of the Federal Government, State of Connecticut, and the City of New Britain. The Vendor shall not charge the City for any fees that may be incur for the storage of unleaded gasoline that was not delivered. The Vendor shall not charge the City for any unleaded gasoline that is not ordered, should the actual quantities ordered be below the estimated quantities listed. In the event the awarded contractor fails to furnish gasoline meeting these specifications, the City reserves the right to purchase gasoline elsewhere, and any excess costs to the city will be against the Vendor. The City is exempt from the payment of taxes imposed by the Federal Government, and/or the State of Connecticut, and such taxes shall not be included in the bid price, except the gross receipts tax, for which the City is liable. The Vendor agrees to provide the City with ten (10) days notice of a critical fuel shortage, or if the vendor will have to go to an allocation plan. The Vendor will be responsible for any and all damage to property resulting from the delivery of fuel, and shall cause proper repair of such damage at his own expense, and to the satisfaction of the City. The Pricing submitted by the Vendor is for the total cost per gallon, which will include all delivery costs and all other fees if any.
