Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Utah Division of State Parks is seeking to enter into a five-year contract with a qualified contractor to provide labor to help Willard Bay State Park staff install their annual Christmas light displays. The Christmas light show runs the day after Thanksgiving through December 31st annually. The awarded contractor will need to provide laborers that can perform the following tasks: Be available for install beginning approximately October 1st each year of the contract Be available for take down February through March each year of the contract, depending on weather Provide enough laborers to work an estimated 3,000 hours each season Work with Willard Bay staff to understand the placement of the lights and props. Props may include: building trims, windows, Candy canes, angels, wreaths, stars, mega trees, arch tunnels. Ability to perform a variety of general labor tasks such as material handling, loading/unloading trucks, operating a boom assembly Ability to perform work outdoors in cold and possibly inclement weather Use safety equipment at all times while performing duties pursuant to the Contract, such as a hard hat, safety glasses, harness, hard sole shoes, etc. depending on conditions. Be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
