Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University desires to procure integration services to install AV equipment in a new pavilion building as part of a renovated sports complex. All equipment will be installed/integrated. Some equipment will be provided by UNCW for Vendor installation, and some will be Vendor provided equipment for installation/integration. (See separate lists in 5.0 SPECIFICATIONS AND DEVIATIONS.) UNCW is enhancing an outdoor sports complex and constructing a new operations building (pavilion) adjacent to the Pat Leonard Student Recreation Center. The building is designated as a multi-use space and includes office, restroom facilities as well as storage and a covered portico. The portico space will be used to host various events, and as such there is a desire to have permanently installed audio and lighting that is quick and simple for the end-user to operate. Events using this system will be smaller, with the anticipated listening/viewing area within 100 feet of the pavilion. Any larger performance will bring in portable line arrays, so concert level output is not needed as part of this design. The equipment being mounted under the portico will need to be permanently installed, outdoor rated, and easy to use and support. There is an internal conditioned space to house supporting infrastructure such as amplifiers, mixing boards, etc. that are not weather rated.
