Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Underage Drinking Prevention (1) Develop social marketing campaigns for parents that reduce youth access to alcohol at parties. (2) Develop collateral materials that reduce youth access to alcohol during prom, graduation and school vacations. (3) Create and produce three (3) media and print campaigns that are culturally relevant to: (1) increase parental knowledge of Connecticut’s Social Host Law; (2) importance of talking to the children about the risks associated with underage drinking; (3) increase knowledge of youth and families about mental health resources. B. Underage Marijuana Use Prevention (1) Develop social marketing campaign for youth to promote healthy choices made by youth who do not use marijuana. (2) Design collateral materials that provide information about the dangers of youth marijuana use and new Connecticut retail marijuana laws. (3) Design collateral materials for a campaign, led by youth for youth, which promotes healthy and safe choices made by youth who do not use marijuana. C. Youth Prescription Misuse and Abuse Prevention (1) Develop social marketing campaign to provide information to youth about the consequences of sharing prescription medication. (2) Design collateral materials for a campaign led by youth for youth, which provides information about consequences of “sharing” prescription medication. D. All materials must comply with State and Federal requirements. E. Provide related marketing services per an as-needed basis.
