Specifications include, but are not limited to: Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for completion of the improvements to four existing welded steel potable water tanks in the TMWA distribution system—Double Diamond 1 is a 1.0-million-gallon tank; Northeast Sparks 1 is a 3.0-million-gallon tank; STMGID 4 is a 0.74-million-gallon tank; and Hidden Valley 2 is a 0.5-million-gallon tank. Work will require selective demolition; steel fabrication; modifications to meet NAC requirements; blasting and coating; modifications of the Northeast Sparks 1 tank altitude valve vault; replacement of the STMGID 4 overflow pipe; replacement of the Hidden Valley 2 roof; various site work; and electrical and controls work.
