Specifications include, but are not limited to: The installation of a new, universal, wired interlocking at MP133.2 on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor in Mystic/Stonington, CT. Work tasks to be managed by general contractor include: civil site work, subgrade work, installation of underdrain and outlets along Tracks 1 and 2, replacement of culverts below existing tracks, installation of catenary pole foundations, erection of steel catenary poles, relocation and installation of all new catenary system components including wire runs, high voltage commercial electrical connections, fabrication and erection of elevated steel platforms for signal equipment , and potentially specialized environmental mitigation work (wetland restoration and invasive species control depending on permit requirements).
