Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bridge repair excavating the roadway to expose the footing and then (GROUTING UNDER FOOTING) armoring the wing wall and abutment with LARGE ROCK type IV and bigger. (rip rap shall be a minimum of 4’ below the bottom of the channel). Finish filling the site and armoring the riverbank with large rock. Ditch and shoulder cleaning (finished ditches should be 3’ wide by 2’ deep), seed and mulching/hydroseed all areas that are not stone lined and that have soil that has been disturbed and graveling the road surface. Rip Rap one location with type IV on Ranney Road downstream of the bridge and another location on Stony Brook Road downstream of the bridge as well. Excavate material and remove wood debris from the channel and upstream bank and dispose of it. Dismantle/save guardrail and reinstall guard rail. The contractor is responsible for all materials needed for the project.
