Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CONTRACTOR shall provide engineering and other technical services to complete the work, but not limited to the following: a. Software configuration and integration – Software platforms need to be configured to meet the needs of Highways as well as integrated with other (new and existing) platforms to create a comprehensive Econstruction system. Software is continuously being updated and developed, companies are bought and sold. It is a continuous effort to identify which software platforms best serve the interest of Highways in both function and cost. b. Update workflows, procedures, specs – workflows, procedures and specifications need to be revised to reflect the new digital construction administration environment. It is also important to continuously evaluate and update as Econstruction systems are dynamic in nature. c. Training and implementation – Training classes need to be developed and implemented for users. Continuous support in addressing questions, problems and other issues that may arise is also critical in providing for an excellent user experience.
