Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Facilitate Team Building Sessions, 1 session per quarter (up to 8 sessions max, up to 80 billable hours in total): Sessions may be from 2-6 hours in person depending on content. Prep time, travel time, and debrief time not included in in person hours, billed as separate session hours. Large-group team building dialogue and training sessions. These sessions will provide custom team building, designed to be supportive, comprehensive and meet the needs of the Mail Processing Unit. Sessions to include: Discussions of issues identified during previous assessments. Custom exercises Training to support group and individual development Dialogue that addresses the real-life work priorities and issues facing the team. Training topics may include modules on: Conflict resolution, Trust. May also include Conflict assessment, similar to Thomas Kilmann’s approach. Custom surveys that assess; Group trust Communication Behaviors to support individual and group work. Task 2 (optional): When appropriate, additional interviews/sessions will be conducted or sub-groups may be engaged between sessions to further develop ideas and resolve concerns, with a maximum of 10 hours. In the quarterly sessions contractor will facilitate development of group norms and protocols that will encourage everyone to participate fully in the process and create an environment for open conversations and joint problem solving. As needed, contractor will help the group discuss, develop, and identify important process commitments around communication, roles and responsibilities, decision making and conflict management. A variety of training, brainstorming, strategic planning and consensus seeking tools will be used to support the group in generating and exploring options that get to the interests of the individuals and group. Following each session, the facilitator will provide the group with a summary that captures the content of the meeting, along with areas of agreement, future agenda topics and action items. All travel time will need to be included in the cost of the sessions.
