Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. The contractor shall provide laboratory services for the analysis of petroleum. The contractor shall provide all services; perform all tests and analysis as a major component of an overall motor fuel quality management program within the State of Arizona which incorporates motor fuel registration, sampling, testing and enforcement. The contractor shall provide timely and accurate analysis of fuel samples necessary to ensure compliance with established motor fuel standards to assist the State of Arizona, Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures Services Division. 2.2. The contractor, at no cost to the State, shall be available on an as needed, if needed basis for consultations with State Agency personnel and, provide expert testimony in court cases or administrative hearings as issues surface. 2.3. The State of Arizona makes no guarantee as to number of samples submitted. However, it is anticipated that approximately 500 test samples per year will be submitted for analysis during the contract term. 2.4. The contractor, at an agreed upon rate, shall provide as needed field services for sampling and testing of fuel samples from any of the above mentioned facilities. 2.5. The ideal supplier will have a lab facility in the state of Arizona, but the agency is open to proposals with labs out-of-state. Lab results need to have a 24-hour turn around upon receiving sample. If the lab is out-of-state, then no more than 2-day shipping.
