Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Air handlers proposed and provided must fit within a 22” wide closet space (finished drywall to finished drywall). Installation may require the removal and replacement of closet door wood trim work. 2. Remove and discard existing gas furnace and evaporator coil. 3. Remove and discard existing exterior condensing unit. Capture and properly dispose of refrigerant. 4. Cap and seal the existing natural gas pipe supplying furnace. Test for gas leaks after capped. 5. Provide complete new split system heat pump SEER 2 standards with minimum 14.3 (approximately equivalent to the old 15 SEER rating) or higher as required by the current city of Glendale adopted International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). Note SEER rating and model in proposal. 6. Provide and install new Trane® (FIELD VERIFY SIZE) two (2) ton indoor heat pump vertical air handler and two (2) ton condensing unit on existing concrete pad for each of the following combinations: a) condenser model XR14 model 4TWR4024N1000; air Handler Hyperion GAM5, b) condenser model XR14 model 4TWR4024N1000; air handler M Series TEM4, and c) condenser model XR14 model 4TWR4024N1000; air handler M Series TEM6. 7. Provide and install new Trane® (FIELD VERIFY SIZE) three (3) ton indoor heat pump vertical air handler and three (3) ton condensing unit on existing concrete pad for each of the following combinations: a) condenser model XR 15 model 4TWR5036N1000; air handler GAM Hyperio TGAM5B0A24M21EA, and b) Condenser model XR 15 model 4TWR5036N1000; air handler TEM6 M Series TEM6A0B30H21SC 8. Provide and install new supply hard duct connection and transition to the existing supply duct. Modify the return air plenum under the air handler as necessary to accommodate new unit. Seal plenum to air handler airtight. Maintain air handler filter access. 9. Flush the existing refrigerant piping to remove all non-compatible refrigerant, oil, and other contaminants. New refrigerant piping to be type L copper if needed. 10. All copper piping to be ACR rated.
