All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Install a non-slip epoxy floor to cover the concrete pad in the annex building of the Ft. Devens CSMS shop. The epoxy floor must contain anti-slip additives and be compatible with the cleaning procedures of the CSMS. The approximate dimensions for the annex building, excluding the section that houses the HRF is 6,000 sq. Ft. These dimensions will need to be field verified by the contractor during the site visit open to the public ahead of awarding the contract. The Annex building must include the removal of the existing epoxy material prior to the installation of the new anti-slip epoxy floor and shall include self-leveling to accommodate existing uneven surfaces or patterns in the floor to achieve proper drainage if needed. All areas must be cleaned and prepped in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations to properly adhere to the surface prior to the installation of the new epoxy. All floor paint and decals to include but no limited too grounding points, safe walking paths, and designated parking spots must be removed prior to installation and re-stripped after the epoxy properly cures and sets. Additionally, the small repair room (approx. 300 sq. ft.) will include removal and stripping of existing floor and apply epoxy floor covering in accordance with the manufacture’s installation practices. The unit is required to empty the room and move any equipment and items back after the installation. The Contractor is not required to relocate any equipment or items. Work can be performed during normal business hours (8am-4pm), Ft. Devens will remain operational, and the contractor must coordinate all work with the POC outlined below. Each area shall be properly cleaned, leveled, and swept as needed, and all trash, material, and rubbish will be removed and properly disposed of prior to the end of each workday.
