Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Southern Maine is seeking responses to provide a virtual room viewing platform that enables students to see their space prior to arrival on campus, as defined in this document. This document provides instructions for submitting responses, the procedure and criteria by which the Respondent(s) will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the University and the awarded Respondent(s). The University of Southern Maine is looking for a platform that will better help both incoming students and those changing rooms to be able to view their new residence hall space prior to their arrival. Part of the University’s mission is student focused every day. With that being able to provide students with additional ways to gather information about their space such as the furniture in it the size and dimension of the space helps students take control of their won information gathering and helps the Residential Life department have more time to devote to answering specific student concerns. Also from a recruitment and retention initiative it enables students to gain a greater understanding of their space prior to selecting or being placed and increases the likelihood that they are in a preferred space and are thus more likely to retain at the institution.
