Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is utilizing security guards as a visual deterrent to crime and the criminal element. Security guards shall maintain high visibility, answer routine questions for directions, and handle minor problems (e.g. plumbing issues, inaccessible doors). Security guards shall be dressed in full uniform at all times during their shifts. The Contractor shall ensure that each security guard complies with the Contractor’s uniform guidelines; these uniform guidelines may be requested by the City. All security guards shall wear their name tags at all times to make themselves easily and readily identifiable as security guards. Security Guards shall wear mobile communication devices (i.e. cell phone, 2-way radio, etc.) at all times to ensure constant communication with the guards’ dispatch and the City. The Contractor shall provide the mobile communication devices for the security guards. Upon seven (7) calendar days from the execution date of the contract, the Contractor shall provide the City with a list of names and correlated ranks/positions between the security guards.
