Specifications include, but are not limited to: • provide input to UCA on the job description; • provide advice on the salary to be offered based on industry trends and best practices; • screen candidates as appropriate, such as via telephonic interviews and present information on those candidates to UCA; • find and provide at least three to five candidates for UCA to interview; • coordinate and make arrangements for UCA in-person, phone, virtual, panel and informal interviews with the candidates; • make presentations to UCA’s Search Committee, as requested; • perform thorough reference checks on the top candidates; • work with UCA General Counsel on Conflict of Interest screening for the candidates; • work with UCA Human Resource Officer regarding the benefit package to be offered; and • work with the Search Committee Chair and the Chief of Staff to present candidates to campus for consideration.
