Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Successful vendor to perform ventilation hood and associated component cleaning services at the Donovan Dining Center main kitchen, Henry Barnard School, and the Student Union Café. • Degrease and clean internal and external exhaust system components including hoods, filters, ducts, roof units, fans, make-up air units, and related equipment. • Inspection of units and motors, replace belts when needed, grease fittings, shifts, and related assembly to insure operational effectiveness and system integrity. • Successful vendor to provide the following: o Inspection report for each unit, listing any discrepancies or deficiencies o Certificate of performance, inspection and cleaning o Each unit to be labeled with date completed and next schedule date for cleaning • The exhaust unit for the DDC has a pan and filter system which uses filter media and other filters. The filter media needs to be rotated each time the hood is cleaned and the top two filters to be changed out yearly. o Provide five (5) times a year rotation of Filter Media for GG-XD72 o Annual replacement of the top two filter layers for GG-XD72 • All work will be done in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards as well as all state and local codes. • Successful vendor to supply all materials and equipment to perform services. All materials and refuse are to be removed immediately from premises upon completion of work. • All operational equipment is to be returned to operational state at completion of service. • Any non-operational equipment is to be noted by vendor prior to commencement of work. • All discrepancies noted during service are to be listed on the final service report. • All surrounding equipment and work areas are to be covered and protected until completion. The worksite and surrounding areas are to be restored to a clean and workable state. • Vendor is to provide material safety data sheets (MSDS) for each cleaning, polishing, degreasing, or any other compound being used. • Work to be performed as scheduled by Rhode Island College with all vendor representatives adhering to the RIC Dining Services signing in/out policy. • Rhode Island College will submit a purchase order for the items and quantities after the bid event has been awarded • Pricing submitted herein is to remain in effect for the duration of the Agreement Period
