Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Ridematching Services – A comprehensive ridematching service for carpooling and vanpooling is required. The service should allow any user to identify potential carpool partners for their designated trip, whether for commuting or other travel, and available vanpools for their commuting trip. Proposers should detail how the service operates, how privacy is assured, the means through which a user can contact one or more potential partners, and any tracking mechanism to determine whether the ridematch was successful. Describe whether an organization can limit ridematching to their members or employees, and any other functionality that would allow the service to be used for selected purposes, geographical areas, or for designated groups. Detail any capabilities of your service to motivate users to carpool or vanpool, or that provides users with preferences for potential partners. Finally, describe any aspects of your service that tracks the use and success of ridematching promotions or dedicated activities. B. Trip-Tracking – Describe all the features of your trip-tracking service. Explain in detail the process that a user follows to log a trip and what modes are captured including drive alone. Detail what metrics are available for users to measure the impact of their travel and what kind of dashboard, if any, is available to the user including any parameters that the user can set such as time period, selected metrics, etc. Describe how your service treats multi-modal trips and whether trips recorded on other third-party services like Strava by the user can be incorporated into your service. Describe any innovative features of your service such as automated functions. C. Account-based Membership – A membership system for users to have access to all of its service functions. Describe what functions are available to all users and those functions for which membership is required. Detail how a user becomes a member and whether AECOM would be able to set-up and/or manage member accounts. Describe what member-controlled parameters are available, if any, and what preferences for ridematching and trip tracking are available. Provide examples of what information can be exported on membership and what membership activities can be tracked. Describe any additional features related to membership that can be used to promote mode shift.
