Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Five Points Arts Center building is 30,000 square feet, constructed of red brick with a stone fascia around the top of the building and as window sills. The building is primarily single level with one two-level section, and a circular double height section that houses the auditorium. The scope of this project is to power-wash, prime and paint the brick walls including the low brick wall surrounding the front terrace, power wash the fascia and window sills, prepare and paint the main entrance canopy and all exterior metal doors and trim. The brick will be painted in a white chosen by Five Points Arts, and the metal doors and trim painted with Sherwin Williams’ “Five Points Gray.” SURFACE PREPARATION: Power-wash and clean brick body, fascia, window sills and low brick wall using a detergent/degreaser mix. Protect hardscape, window frames, sills from paint. Prime brick body and low wall using a concrete and masonry primer. PAINT: Brick Body two coats using an Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint with dirt and mildew resistant coating. Doors and Trim (two to three coats) with a rust resistant paint.
