Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. Supplier shall operate the WWTP and WTP in a manner such that no alert levels or discharge limits, as specified in table 1 and table 2 of the attached Aquifer Protection Plan (APP) 1 and Safe Drinking Water Act are exceeded. Potable drinking water sample schedule shall be provided at start of contract. 4.2. Sampling for the WTP will be performed by the supplier or third party, depending on type of sample, at no cost to the supplier. 4.3. Supplier shall conduct daily flow and fecal coliform form monitoring in accordance with section 2.5, 2.5.1, 2.5.2, 2.5.5 and table 1 of the APP. Samples collected for fecal coliform form analysis shall be delivered by the supplier to the laboratory specified by the Department project manager, and shall be analyzed at the expense of the supplier. Supplier shall be responsible for daily fecal coliform form samples only; all other sampling requirements will be furnished by others. Samples shall be collected and delivered to the laboratory within 2 hours of collection, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, except when the lab is closed on one of those days due to holiday, in which case no sample will be collected on that day and a sample will be collected on Friday, after the supplier has made advance arrangements with the lab to receive the Friday sample. In the event the lab is closed on Friday due to a holiday the supplier shall make advance arrangements with the lab to receive the Thursday sample. The supplier shall collect samples on a sufficient number of days to ensure compliance with the daily discharge monitoring requirements, weekly fecal coli form discharge limits and single sample fecal coli form limits as given in Table 1 of the APP. 4.4. Supplier shall supply all chemicals, gases and tablets to support WTP and WWTP operations. Storage of treatment materials are to be kept in approved cabinets or storage areas 4.5. Supplier shall conduct operational monitoring as specified in Table 2 of the APP and Safe Drinking Water Act, Maintain a log book of the inspections at the location where day to day decisions regarding operation of the facility are made as given in section 2.7.2 of the APP and SDWA, including the name of the inspector, the date and shift the inspection was conducted, the condition of the applicable facility components, and damage or malfunction and the date and time any repairs were performed.
