Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lextran is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to perform functional assessments and make eligibility recommendations for those seeking ADA eligibility and paratransit services. The Contractor shall be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and carrying out procedures for the processing and certification of such new applications for ADA paratransit eligibility and applications for recertification during the contract period and any extensions thereof. Currently, Lextran certifies for a period of up to three (3) years. Certifications are granted for a period of up to one year when the applicant’s disability is of a temporary nature. Depending upon their functional abilities, some customers are granted “automatic recertification” status.
