Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the TSS Office of State Procurement (TSS OSP) for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism (ADPHT) to obtain pricing and a contract for Statewide Outdoor Recreation Economic Impact Study. The objectives and goals of this RFP are to contract with a Contractor who will provide data to include but not be limited to the following: • The overall statewide economic impact of outdoor recreation. • The regional economic impact of outdoor recreation across the state. • How the economic impacts are distributed across recreational activities and sectors. • How Arkansas’s outdoor recreational economy compares to other states. • The economic value of key outdoor recreational amenities, such as but not limited to, Monument Trails in Arkansas State Parks. • The usage rate of change over time for Arkansas’s State Park Monument Trails. • The value that outdoor recreational activities and companies make in the Arkansas economy. • The top three opportunities for growth by industry sector. • Analyze data and provide analysis of data to ADPHT in a manner that is easy to understand and follow with limited questions. The Contractor shall ensure that the statewide economic impact study reflects the direct spending on outdoor recreation. The Contractor shall include additional spending that occurs when the direct spending increases production in supporting the Tourism and Hospitality industries, which also increases Arkansas’s worker and business owner-incomes and spending.
