Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of North Dakota, acting through its Department of Commerce (the STATE) is soliciting proposals for a full-service consultant, specializing in workforce studies and/or assessments related to New Americans and Foreign-Born Immigrants' workforce participation in the United States. This includes developing and conducting a comprehensive statewide study of employment, employers, resources, policies, and practices related to the employment and integration of New Americans and Foreign-Born Immigrants. The consultant, with North Dakota stakeholders, will use the study results to provide recommendations that will inform the structure and long-term objectives of the new North Dakota Office of Legal Immigration and the development of a pilot program that will support businesses, communities, and individuals. The State anticipates executing a multi-year contract, for services including consultation, assessment, convening stakeholders, and developing and disseminating a report with actionable strategies and recommendations.
