Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be completed under this Contract consists of supplying the materials, equipment, labor and incidentals to complete pedestrian improvements along the Cape Arago Highway 240 (OR540) at MP 0.63 and MP 0.05, in Coos County, OR, as described in the Contract plans and specifications: The work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Provide and maintain temporary work zone traffic control. 2. Remove sidewalks and curbs. 3. Construct pedestrian ramps at each corner of Virginia Ave/Marion Ave Intersection. 4. Construct Island at Virginia Ave/Marion Ave Intersection. 5. Remove existing signs and install new signs. There are a few signs the contractor shall maintain and protect in place. 6. Install flashing beacons. 7. Remove and install pavement markings at the intersection of Virginia Ave/Marion Ave and Virginia Ave/Union Ave. 8. Perform additional and incidental work as noted in the Contract plans and specifications and as directed.
