Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to identify a developer/owner/operator of a commercial restaurant or other eating places, full-service, snack or beverage bars, entertainment venues and/or similar concept that will purchase and redevelop a series of existing downtown sites into dynamic and transformative spaces for downtown Olathe residents and visitors. It is the City’s desire for these existing structures to remain and be repurposed to encourage and accommodate new commercial uses which align with the goals and recommendations of the Envision Olathe Downtown Plan. Further, it is the intent of the City that the successful bidder be able to move forward quickly on the establishment of their proposal in an expeditious manner and not offer a "purchase and hold to look for an establishment" proposal.
