Specifications include, but are not limited to: Caledonia County Natural Resources Conservation District is seeking an engineering consultant to provide design services for a culvert replacement project in the Town of Groton to restore fish passage and stream stability. The purpose of this project is to replace two undersized culverts to improve fish passage and stream stability along the Keenan Brook, a tributary to the Wells River. The two culverts are adjacent, and both culverts are owned by the Town of Groton. One culvert is under a town road (Little Italy Road), and the other culvert passes under the Cross Vermont Trail. This section of the Cross Vermont Trail is owned by the Town of Groton. Both culverts are geomorphically incompatible, and the culvert under the Cross Vermont Trail is perched. Caledonia County NRCD seeks proposals to complete a 30% design, and subsequent 100% design.
