Specifications include, but are not limited to: Alaska based, qualified Contractor shall provide Collection and Disposal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Hazardous Waste as part of its primary business. Contractor shall collect and dispose of all types of medical and pharmaceutical waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, as described in the Scope of Services. Upon request, Contractor shall provide proof of regulatory compliance for all operations and be ANTHC’s representative. Contractor shall supply all required regulatory documents and sign on behalf of ANTHC at the time of collection. ANTHC shall provide access to the collection locations. All services shall be performed in strict accordance with the attached Scope of Services and the Terms & Conditions. The period of performance shall be from the date of award for twelve months with five annual options to renew. ANTHC estimates total medical/pharmaceutical waste average for the campus is 180,000 gallons a year. Monthly averages: Pathological – 350 gallons per month Non-Hazardous Pharmaceutical – 650 gallons per month Trace Chemotherapy-2,500 gallons per month Regulated Medical Waste – 10,000 to 12,000 per month
