Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Provide material and labor for the installation of a new Carlisle Syntec EPDM Roofing System (no substitutes) for the calculated square footage of approximately 12,560 square feet in total including parapet walls. • Inspect existing roof drains to make sure that they are in working order. Inspections include making sure all clamping rings are intact and are in good working condition along with drain strainers and bolts. If needed provide replacement retrofit drains under a change order request. • Remove existing roofing system and all related flashing and materials down to the existing polyiso insulation. Existing polyiso will remain intact. Remove all parapet wall flashing and all other base flashing as per manufacturer’s specifications. Remove existing tapered insulation panels at drain sections down to polyiso insulation. • Inspect roof substrate and replace any defective roof decking with new steel roof decking on an as needed basis. Provide the price per square foot for; steel decking, 1”, 1.5” and 2” polyiso insulation including installation. • Install tapered insulation between scupper boxes to divert rain water to drains/scupper boxes. Install one layer of ½” HD Secure Shield Plus polyisocyanurate ridged insulation with R- Value of 2.5. This insultation will be mechanically fastened through the existing polyiso to the steel deck with #12 screws and 3” insulation plates. Install new drain sumps as applicable at all drain sections. • Install one ply of Carlisle Syntec .060 EPDM over the Polyisocenruate ridged insulation board. The roofing membrane will be fully adhered to the ridged insulation. • All field Seams shall be sealed with factory applied 3” seam tape and all end laps and field fabricated seams shall be sealed with 3” seam tape. • All walls, terminations, penetrations shall be flashed as per manufacturers specifications using factory certified products at all applicable locations. • Install 24-gauge steel 2-piece EZ Edge metal edge system with Kynar finish along the front and rear roof edges which total approximately 235 feet in length. Install surface mount flashing/termination bar at the parapet walls along with water cutoff mastic and lap caulk. • Remove all debris from work site. Include labor and material costs broken out. A minimum 20-year warranty is required on materials and labor and 2-year coverage on workmanship. • Please submit and a separate estimate for 120 linear feet of Snow Guards (Alpine Snow Guard Standing Seam Two Pipe Snow Guard or Equal) system to be installed on the metal locker room roof at the rear of the Foster Rink. To be added to the project if budget allows.
