Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections is responsible for maintaining the door control systems at the Central Detention Facility, which houses and services inmates in a safe and secure environment. Door controls are an essential component of controlling movement within the facility and ensuring security. The planned installation upgrade will include the installation and programming of 18 network switches and 2 programmed for backup, at CDF. The following equipment will be procured, delivered and installed: Eighteen (20) Garrett Network Switches, Magnum 6KQ (2 as backups) Twenty (20) Garrett, 6kq-24v Power Supply Twenty (20) Garrett, 6kq4-rj45 Ethernet modules Twenty (20) Garrett ,6kqf-2mst fiber Modules Twenty (20) Garrett, 6kq2-mst Fiber Module ST Connectors The Contractor shall provide skilled labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to repair/service the referenced components. Contractor shall also be requested to remove debris and redundant parts from the site on a daily basis during the performance of the work. The Contractor is responsible for removing all debris associated with the project from the worksite when the assignment is completed. The Contractor shall lock up all tools and materials at the end of each tour of duty in an agreed upon location by the facility administrator. The Contractor shall communicate with either Facility Administrator or Lead Electronic Technician prior to starting the work. The Contractor shall communicate with either Facility Administrator or Lead Electronic Technician any requirements for system down time prior to shutting down said system in order to minimize facility disruption.
