Specifications include, but are not limited to:The City of Craig, Alaska is seeking services to repair the anchor system of the floating breakwater, located on the North end of North Cove Harbor in Craig, Alaska. The floating breakwater in a repurposed section of the I-90 bridge from Lake Washington. It is moored in place by 6 large anchors and 2.5-inch chain. The pad eyes that the chain mounts to are worn out and need to be replaced. Two (2) have failed and dropped the anchor chain. SCOPE OF WORK. Respondents will provide the City of Craig with a proposal to provide labor and materials to complete the following work. Removal and replacement of the six (6) old pad eyes that attach the anchor chain to the floating breakwater Replacement of all shackles that are worn past their service life. Reconnect all anchor chains to the new pad eyes. Complete a thorough video inspection of all anchors, chains, and attachments to breakwater when the work is completed.
