Specifications include, but are not limited to: On the NW corner, the project will consist of cutting the curb and gutter head off, removing the existing steps and sidewalks, excavating 2’ more or less, and pouring a new ramp, 4’ flat area and 16’ of sidewalk. On the SW corner the project will consist of removing the existing curb and gutter, steps and sidewalks, excavating 3’ more or less, and pouring a new ramp, 4’ flat area and 40’ of sidewalk. Crossing the intersection a 15’ wide roadway gutter will be installed for drainage across Erie Street. CONCRETE ROADWAY GUTTER a. Subgrade excavation and disposal and grading. b. F &I 4” compacted aggregate base. c. F & I #5 epoxy coated Rebar 18” long, 12’ O.C. at tie-in to C&G. d. Pour new gutter 7” thick with 4,000 psi concrete. e. The gutter side that is running parallel with the water flow must line up with the curb lip on both sides of the intersection. f. Seal with curing compound. g. Cleanup all debris. h. Provide traffic control (must meet MUTCD specifications) SIDEWALK & ADA CONSTRUCTION a. Full depth saw cut b. Concrete removal and disposal in locations provided by contractor c. Excavate subgrade to new grades and install 4” of compacted granular fill d. All Concrete shall be 4,000 psi mix e. The curb and gutter and ramp must be poured separately f. The turning space pad must be level; flat g. Ramp will be 4’ wide at the turning space pad and 6’ wide at the curb cut with a max slope of 8% h. City of Maquoketa will provide the yellow detectable domes i. All sidewalk after the turning space pad shall be at least 16’ (+) long at any constant slope
