Specifications include, but are not limited to: The of Unified Government Transportation Department is soliciting proposals for Bus Shelter Improvements and services. The department wants assistance to upgrade and/or replace existing shelters, public benches, and trash bins to create a safer place for citizens to wait for their preferred mode of transit. The goal of this project is to improve bus shelters in the Wyandotte County community to aid in increasing and improving the ridership experience. The contractor will be required to provide the following deliverables: Order and install Solar Panel Bus Shelter (s). Order and install benches (2-3 seaters). Measure and replace plexiglass in existing shelters. Order and install trash bins (if needed). Bolt down all equipment. Pour Concrete (if needed). Take before and after photos to send to the department (shareable profile). Submit a monthly billing. Meet with the department bi-weekly or monthly to discuss updates.
