Specifications include, but are not limited to: As part of the Phase II Statewide Masterplan, DFCM has begun identifying areas of the State where it is financially advantageous to the State to consolidate State agencies into a single location where it would not impact the function or mission of those agencies. As part of this various properties may be sold, outdated buildings vacated, and existing leases terminated. The agencies within these existing buildings will then be joined together in multi-agency regional centers that will be constructed in various locations throughout the State. In areas where existing facilities are still viable, buildings will be remodeled and modernized to account for today’s work life and space standards. As such DFCM is seeking a design team that will be able to identify needs of various stakeholder groups, and be able to implement those project requirements across an array of projects. To accommodate this need, this solicitation will select one (1) A/E team who may be awarded architectural/engineering contracts for any of the new or remodeled regional centers. Potential locations include but are not limited to: Box Elder county, Provo, St George, Price, Cedar City, Logan, Vernal/Roosevelt, Moab, Heber and Park City. The agencies that will typically be utilizing these buildings are, but not limited to, as follows: DPS, DHHS, Tax Commission, DWS, DFCM, DEQ and AG. Currently there are two new regional centers that have been approved and funded. They will be constructed in Richfield and Farmington, and contracts for their design will be awarded from this solicitation. The potential regional centers at the locations noted previously have not been funded as of this point; however, as funding becomes available for such centers, contracts will be issued based off of this solicitation as well.
