Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Supported Employment methodology 101 training modules minimum 4 times per year designed for staff who are new to the service. The training will be Recorded and uploaded to DAIL Supported Employment website annually by October each year. The training is intended as A beginning introductory course to provide techniques and strategies for community employment providers to implement best practices in employment services and increase employment outcomes for persons with disabilities. Topics must include: History, Values and Philosophy, Discovery/Assessment Job Development Strategies, Employer Engagement, Customized Employment Role of the Job Coach, Worksite & Culture Analysis, Job Placement & Training Career Development, Disclosure, Follow-Along 2) Supported Employment methodology Advanced training minimum 4 times per year. The training will be Recorded and uploaded to DAIL Supported Employment website annually by October each year. The advanced course is intended to provide techniques and strategies for community employment providers to implement best practices in employment services and increase employment outcomes for persons with disabilities. This training should be designed for staff with one or more years of experience providing supported employment services. 3) Individual Supported Employment Technical Assistance for community based providers. • 3-4 disability provider agencies per year as identified by the State 4) Professional development for Vermont Supported Employment teams who deliver direct service 2 hours per month as directed by the state. This will include topics that are selected by the DDSD and DVR Supported Employment managers to help support the professional growth of Direct Support Professionals in the Supported Employment field. • Host quarterly virtual community of practice/ training and time together for Employment Specialists, DSPs 5) Research and present promising practices to the Vermont Supported Employment community. Contractor will include in estimate. 1) Specialized Training topics 2-4 per year as selected by DDSD and HA program managers • Autism and Employment • Other as selected by DDS and HA Program Managers 2) Administering a contract with a specialty consultant who specializes in positive behavioral approaches in employment • Quarterly trainings a year • Individual client consultations up to 12 per year 3) Arrange and organize four Supported Employment Director/Managers Training per year • Hire consultants in topics like Self-Employment, Employer Contracted Supports • Schedule and Advertise • Confer with state coordinators to develop topics and select presenters
