Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Cleaning services for 5,985 square feet of office space (which includes 11 private offices, 2 shared offices, common spaces, two conference rooms, a break room, and a courtroom) located on the first floor and portions of the second floor of 701 Southwest Jackson Street, Topeka, Kansas. • Cleaning services must be completed prior to 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. Daily Services: • Empty trash and take trash to dumpster. • Floors: • Vacuum carpet, floor mats, and rugs. • Sweep hardwood floor in one private office. • Dust mop and damp mop tile floor in break room. • Surfaces – clean glass surfaces in both conference rooms with glass cleaner. • Door handles – clean with disinfectant. Weekly Services: • Surfaces • Clean all surfaces, including table, sink, and countertop in the break room with kitchen cleaner. • Clean all open areas on glass surfaces in three private offices with glass cleaner. • Dust open areas on all other surfaces, including desks (without glass), tables, file cabinets, bookcases, windowsills, and other furniture. • Walls, ceilings, and baseboards – remove dust and cobwebs Monthly Services: • Dust floorboards. • Dust ceiling vents. • Spot clean doors and walls; and • Dust blinds. Semi-Annual Service: • Dust blinds (no later than April 10 and October 10 each year). • Wash windows (inside); and Other glass – clean all glass in doors and near doors with glass cleaner (no later than April 10 and October 10 each year). Annual Services (between September 20 and October 10 each year): • Strip and wax laminate floor in break room. • Clean all carpets. As Needed Services: • Remove cobwebs from walls, ceilings, and baseboards. • Wash baseboards • Spot clean carpet.
