Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of the Attorney General, Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division (CPJAD), seeks written comments through this Request For Information (RFI) regarding a planned Request for Proposals (RFP) for the de-obigiated funds from FY 2020 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Grant. It is anticipated that the RFP will be announced in within the next two months. Proposals will be submitted on CPJAD's online Grants Management System (GMS), CPJAD e-Grants. Some highlights of the RFI include the following: approximately $900,000 will be available through the VOCA Grant to eligible nonprofit and government agencies providing direct services to crime victims in Hawaii. A 100% match waiver will be granted to successful proposals. A minimum of $50,000 and maximum of $200,000 are required for project budgets for a 9-month period, starting January 1, 2024. Limitations in the budget include the following: mainland travel for training at $2,500, interisland travel for training at $1,000; equipment and furniture at $1,000 for each category. Additional points will be awarded for crime victim service providers serving victims of violent crime residing in rural or geographically isolated areas.
