Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Remove existing exterior caulk, loose gasketing, loose paint, and sealants. • Wipe the entire switchgear exterior, including panel edges & jambs with mineral spirits or de-greasing solvent • Thoroughly wire-brush, sand, metal-prep and prime all bare, rusted, corroded, or damaged surfaces. • Lightly sand the entire exterior, edges, and jambs of the switchgear housings with 320 grit sandpaper • Clean and/or replace all vents, filters, and protective covers. • Wipe the entire switchgear exterior, including panel edges & jambs, with mineral spirits or de-greasing solvent. • With foam paint applicators, neatly apply a smooth finish of PPG ANSI 70 Gray Spectracron 560 Epoxy primer w/Q5501 or approved equivalent catalyst on the entire exterior surfaces, roof, panel edges & jambs. • With foam paint applicators, neatly apply a smooth finish of PPG ANSI-70 Gloss Gray QT360 Urethane Enamel w/Q3501-4 catalyst or approved equivalent. • Epoxy paint on the entire exterior surfaces, roof, panel edges & jambs • Replace all joints, door and panel gasketing and seals as required. • Adjust, lubricate and/or replace, as required, fasteners, hinges, hardware, etc. • Caulk, seal and/or gasket all exposed joints as required. • Thoroughly inspect the entire switchgear exterior roof, walls, doors, panels, and base frame for leaks, gaps, and surface anomalies
