Specifications include, but are not limited to: Companies replying to this RFP (“Responders”) should be able to demonstrate familiarity with proctoring, scoring, statistical analysis of the examination questions and booklets and assessment center exercises including general methodology utilized in the examination development. In addition, applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop, validate, administer, and score written examinations and assessment center type promotional exams. The successful Contractor should also have experience in dealing with legal challenges, including furnishing any available background documentation needed, and making staff available to participate in providing testimony, if required. Responders with the following qualifications shall be given preference: • Experience with promotional examinations for Municipal Police Departments. • Experience with the implementation of assessment center exercises for Municipal Police Departments. • Experience with similar projects within the State of Connecticut. • Proposed timeline for the project and its various components. • Ability to administer written the examinations to candidates. • Pricing Proposal including the cost of the written examination process and assessment center evaluation process. • Ability to provide performance, labor, and materials bond for 100% of the project, and meet insurance requirements as described the Terms and Conditions of this RFP. • Prior performance and references.
