Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Set-up safety per OSHA requirements prior to beginning work. 2) Remove all ballast by vacuum method. 3) Remove existing EPDM membrane and membrane flashings. Properly dispose. 4) Install ½” HD ISO cover board over entire roof. 5) Install a mechanically fastened 060 EPDM membrane roof system. 6) New .060 EPDM flashings on all walls, curbs, pipes, and other penetrations. 7) Reuse existing clamping rings if in good condition. If not, install new clamping rings. 8) Shop form and install 24-gauge Kynar coated metal edge at roof perimeters. • Only as much roofing will be removed in one day that can be replaced and made watertight. • Smoking not permitted on site. • Contractor to furnish chemical toilet for entire project. • Site to be clean daily before leaving job site. • Contractor to furnish generators for electrical needs. • Submit references of other projects similar in size and scope. • Any deteriorated insulation or steel decking found during the removal process will be replaced with new on time and material as an added cost to the contract.
