Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project is to build and provide a fire rescue watercraft for the Davenport Fire Department. It is the City's intent to install a multi-component, modular playground at two (2) park locations in the city. Following is a brief description of the locations: Successful companies will need to demonstrate the units can be delivered and installed in a timely manner. ➢ Parks receiving new/enhanced playgrounds include: o Cork Hill Park, 1100 Farnam Street ▪ Replace existing playground ▪ Traditional playground, 5-12 years • Budget - $60,000 o Monroe Park, 1625 W 3rd Street ▪ Replace existing playground ▪ Traditional playground, 5-12 years; o Design should include proposed location for benches, and include bench purchase and installation. Bench location may be outside of existing playground foot print. o The City will remove old playground units and provide rough grade for the sites. o It is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure the equipment fits within the site for all use zones. The city is open to expanding the sites if the budget allows. o Play equipment should be delivered on site. Contractor is responsible for securing equipment if delivered early. The city will not transport the equipment if delivered early to different site. o Contractor is responsible for securing the work site during installation. o Pricing does not need to include certified surface installation. The city will supply and place certified fibar playground mulch after installation is complete. o All submittals should be shown using the color palette of Silver, Royal Blue and White. Actual colors of ordered playgrounds will vary depending on location and will be determined with the successful vendor(s).
