Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project includes the full replacement of traffic control signal equipment in Downtown New Haven. This project is being re-advertised to reflect a base bid of three (3) intersections and one (1) bid alternate intersection. Specifically, the work completed at the intersections consists of installing new traffic control signal equipment including, but not limited to, cabinet and controller, vehicle optical pre-emption, mast arms, pedestals, new signal heads, video detection, fiber optic interconnect cable and Ethernet switch for communication, system integration, concrete handhole, new signs and pavement markings. The work also entails the removal and reconstruction of curbs and sidewalks, resetting granite curbing, as needed, and installation of concrete handicap ramps.
