Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide abatement and demolition of all buildings and associated utilities and infrastructure on the Paradise Campus as outlined in this Bid Document and associated Exhibits and Addenda. This project includes the abatement of black roofing mastic, TSI on pipes and elbows, vinyl floor tiles and/or black mastic, baseboards, mastic underneath carpets, drywall systems with surface textures, and window putty of the UNLV Paradise Campus Building 1, Building 3, Building 4, and Building 5 located at 851 East Tropicana Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119. Converse Consultants, the Owner’s Asbestos Consultant (“Consultant”), will provide a Project Monitor for the project who will conduct final visual and air clearance for the scheduled abatement activities. Once the Contractor has completed removal work and all detail cleaning, the Project Monitor will conduct the final visual inspection for the containment areas with the Contractor present. After the visual inspection is completed, Consultant will perform the final air clearance sampling before building demolition.
